I have tutored at my university for 3 years. During theses 3 years I have tutored in 3 different ways: individuals, small groups and a drop in service. I have excelled at all three of them during my time there. The courses that I tutored were Statistics, Calculus, Physics and Chemistry. In addition to tutoring I have also been a teaching assistant for a Calculus 3 type course for digital arts major and Physics. Being a teaching assistant meant that I had to hold office hours and grade and proctor tests. I want to tutor because I have always enjoyed helping students learn. This is why my future plans is to become a math educator.
